I admit I was reluctant, so much so that I bought mine (pale pink too) in the end of season sale so I didn't feel overly cheated.

Yes they were ugly. I really struggled to have them anywhere near my designer thongs. But I did find myself wearing them most of the time (perfect for the Libyan climate).

And so, like you, I was converted...albeit reluctantly. They are indestructible little fuckers too, even withstanding the unforgiving grip of my mental dog's jaw where other shoes have not been so lucky.

When it was time to evacuate Libya, I was limited to only 1 case, so I shamefully admit to taking the Louis Vuitton, the Mulberry, the numerous Coach, the Paul Smith over the humble dog punctured, and now scruffy, Crocs.

This was a mistake.

And so, our next move overseas looms and I will be buying another pair of Crocs. Only problem we have here in the UK is that they've somewhat fallen off the fashion radar and finding them on the High Street is damn near impossible. So I guess I'll buy mine online this time and pay full price. Now my next decision is what colour to choose.......

My only piece of advice (and I speak from experience on this one)...they are indeed so light and comfortable and so easy to wear that its very VERY easy to forget you're wearing them...especially when you're dashing out of the house for a nice lunch with friends or attending a parent teacher meeting. Despite all their comfort attributes, they are NOT a good look...EVER! Enjoy :-)Jilly Babynoreply@blogger.com
